About the role...
- As a Tenant Empowerment Manager, your primary role will be to enhance the tenant experience from initial contact made through a tenant enquiry, the management of the tenant phases through the CRM (using our in-house system, PipeDrive) through to the successful transition into an SDA dwelling;
- Identify suitable properties and locations based on tenants SDA funding (existing or proposed), living preferences and desire to live independently or in a shared environment;
- Match tenants with other tenants based on suitability, personality and objectives;
- Assess suitability for SDA based on supporting evidence and provide guidance/assistance to tenants (and their support network) in obtaining the appropriate SDA funding in their plan;
- Administering the execution of Letters of Offer and other Tenant Agreements (including Leases) with Tenants;
- Collaborating with Operations and Finance in developing systems and processes for the claiming of payments from the NDIA and Centrelink on behalf of Tenants;
- Ensuring each new SDA project achieves 100% occupancy within specified timeframes whilst maintaining a strong focus on ensuring the tenant experience and positive impact;
- Collaborating internally and externally in the formation of a “Vacancy Management Policy” to minimise vacancy risks within the homes, enhance relationships with tenants, obtain feedback for improvement and provide insight to the project teams for continuous improvement;
- Engaging with the appointed Property/Facilities Manager (internal or external) in respect to property improvements, repairs and maintenance (where required);
- Administering and managing the implementation of the Disability Housing Outcomes Framework, including the measurement and assessment of the impact we have on our tenant’s quality of life;
- Understanding of National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013, the National Standards of Disability and relevant state-based legislation
You might also have...
- Experience in Support Coordination or another Allied Health Provider with strong knowledge and experience in SDA (ideally 2-3 years);
- Qualifications in Disability Services or other Allied Health Specialty Areas (ie Occupational Therapy);
- Current drivers licence and willingness to use own or private vehicle (with comprehensive insurance) for work related travel;
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally and interstate;
- National Criminal Record Check;
- NDIS Workers Check;
- NDIS Worker Induction certificate.
