Glossodia Community Centre, established in 1982 is situated in the heart of Glossodia NSW, next door to the local shopping centre and close to the public school. The DCJ funded TEI program operates out of the Centre as does the Out of School Hours Care service.
GCC’s main building has two halls which are available for hire and two smaller buildings in the back, one used for youth activities and one for meetings etc.
In broad terms the Centre Manager/Community Development Worker role will support the Management Committee to set goals and priorities for the organisation, engage and consult with the community to identify needs and where possible and appropriate implement activities/programs to meet those needs.
This is a Part Time position; days of work will be negotiated with the successful candidate. This position is classified at Level 7 of the NSW SCHADS Award.
