About the role

We are seeking two full-time Support Coordinators (4 days a week negotiable). Work from home or in our Mooroolbark office as part of a supportive and family friendly team helping participants get the most out of their NDIS funding.

Support Coordinators help NDIS participants get the supports they need to achieve their goals and stay well. We work with our NDIS participants to connect them to local services and resources.

Support Coordinators help participants get their NDIS supports started, keep them going and negotiate with NDIS about change to their funding.

Your wage be negotiated depending on experience in the range of $36 to $40 per hour plus Super and portable long service leave.

About You

You will have experience in the coordinated support of people living with a mental illness. You have an excellent grounding in community service and understand how mental illness can affect relationships, employment and physical health.

You feel satisfaction when you can help someone help themselves, but wouldn’t hesitate to provide extra support when it’s needed. You are good at organising, building connections, problem solving and managing modest budgets.

You have a current driver’s licence and vehicle, a Certificate IV or higher qualification in mental health or an equivalent area, and good digital/administration skills. Of course, you have the mandatory checks and have done the NDIS Orientation and COVID on-line modules.

Salary: SCHADS Level 4: pay point according to qualification, skills and experience
