Receptionist / Administration Worker

Step into our Receptionist/Administration role! The salary for this part-time (0.6) role is a SHADS Level 3.4 ($76,272.04) plus superannuation and $15,990 salary sacrificing.

Our Health, Safety & Wellbeing team within our People & Culture team, are responsible for creating a healthy and safe workplace that focuses on the wellbeing and productivity of GenWest employees.

The purpose of the role is to provide a professional and responsive reception service to staff, visitors, clients and community members, including women experiencing a family violence crisis. The position also provides an administrative support function for GenWest staff. As the first point of contact for current and potential clients, the receptionist/administrator is required to assess and direct requests to the most appropriate person/service as quickly and empathically as possible.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering professional and efficient reception services by managing all initial enquiries, ensuring an appropriate and timely service response to clients experiencing family violence
  • Contributing to effective incoming and outgoing deliveries including donations
  • Emergency Management assistance
  • Managing low-level office management and relevant trades

The ideal candidate will have

  • At least 2 years of experience with office management/reception
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to speak a community language and knowledge of the western metropolitan region is highly desired.
