- We are seeking a Project Coordinator (Family Violence) within our Safer Placer and Recovery team! The salary for this role is a SHADS Level 6.1 ($102,546.08 + super + $15,990 salary packaging) pro rata.
We are seeking a Project Coordinator (Family Violence) to join our Safer Places and Recovery team on a 12-month fixed term (0.8) part-time basis. This project role provides an exciting opportunity to oversee several related projects overseeing GenWest’s commitment to best practice, in regards to Secondary Consultation’s and - Information Sharing.
This position is responsible for overseeing project deliverables and outcomes for the Primary Care Pathways to Safety Secondary Consult project, the WIFVC secondary consultation regional partnership working group and coordination and enhancement of GenWest’s Secondary Consultation and Information sharing guidance.
Reporting to the Integrated Family Violence Services – Project Lead, the responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the end-to-end Primary Care Pathways to Safety Secondary Consult project for general practices, overseeing project deliverables and outcomes.
- Acting as the contact person with the Northwestern Melbourne Primary Health Network team/program officer and key stakeholders.
- Contributing to the pathways to safety project engagement strategy plan over the 12-month project life cycle.
- Attending the Pathways to Safety steering committee meetings as a sitting member.
- Attending the Trainings and Communities of Practice sessions for general practices to contribute family violence response capacity building both during and post sessions.
- Engaging with local general practices across GenWest catchment areas to promote the Pathways to Safety project outcomes.
- Collecting and submitting relevant de-identified data for NWMPHN and SAX institute and participate in program evaluations as required and when requested.
- Working alongside GenWest secondary consultation function to integrate the pathways to safety project within existing and enhanced provisions.
- Ehancing GenWest’s secondary consultation and information sharing pathways with external services in alignment with relevant frameworks and legislations.
- Attending and contributing to the deliverables of the Western Integrated Family Violence Committee Secondary Consultation Project Advisory Group.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialist family violence response working with victim survivors or equivalent.
- Proven experience and knowledge of theoretical models and frameworks relevant to family violence including the MARAM Framework and Ministerial guidelines for FVISS & CISS).
- Experience developing effective and collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.
Desired qualities also include:
- Experience in project management, including planning, goal setting, meeting deadlines, evaluation, reporting.
- Experience with Secondary consultation and information sharing with a comprehensive specialist family violence lens with both specialist family violence staff and non-specialist services.
