We are seeking a Program Support Worker within our Safer Placer and Recovery team! The salary for this role is a SHADS Level 3 (between $71,128.72 to $76,272.04 + $15,990 salary packaging) pro rata.

We are seeking a Program Support Worker to join our Safer Places and Recovery team on a part-time (0.8,0.9 EFT) to full-time basis. This position is responsible for undertaking a range of administrative tasks and organise daily priorities which directly support the Integrated Family Violence Services across GenWest, providing support to victim survivors including children experiencing family violence.

Reporting to the Manager – System Enablers, the responsibilities of this role include:

• Working alongside the programs within the Integrated Family Violence Services in GenWest to support victim survivors including children who are experiencing family violence.
• Assisting teams in completing client referrals, housing applications, flexible support package (FSP) applications, Private Rental Assistance and complete any other paperwork as required.
• Supporting internal meetings through the preparation and circulation of agendas and minutes
• Undertaking data entry and overall administration duties when requested by management and Team Leaders, including SHIP administration tasks.
• Supporting administrative functions associated with the provision of material aid and other goods and services including follow-up calls to clients, delivering material-aid as requested by practitioners and establishing/managing contact with external suppliers.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum Certificate IV in Community Services or working towards tertiary qualification in a related discipline
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite of programs
• Excellent organisational, administration and time-management skills
• Knowledge of the SHIP database and the understanding of the family violence service system is desirable
