The Waranara School, is a registered and accredited special assistance independent school, catering to 65 students from Years 9 to Year 12. 

An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified, enthusiastic and experienced  Mathematics teacher who has a willingness to also teach Science to join our school commencing January 2019.

Applicants must have tertiary qualifications in secondary teaching with a minimum of 3 years secondary teaching experience and:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in developing curriculum and assessment in a differentiated and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Exemplary classroom practice and classroom management skills.
  • NESA teaching registration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with students who are experiencing mental health issues and the impact of complex trauma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check.
  • A valid Driver’s license.
