The FIH is a recovery program designed to support individuals who have experienced financial abuse as part of domestic and family violence (DFV).

The goal of FIH coaching is to partner with participants to build their confidence to undertake self-directed behaviour change. Coaching focusses on participants feeling empowered to manage their finances effectively, to recover from the impacts of financial abuse and avoid future financial problems. • Recognise financial risk factors and, in collaboration with the Hub Coordinator, facilitate referrals to specialised financial service providers such as financial counsellors, financial planners and legal services as necessary and attend these meetings as required
  • Contribute to the promotion of the FIH including delivering FIH presentations and workshops either remotely or in person.
  • Contribute to the planning and organising of co-location work spaces and participate in on-going work at various co-location sights.
