Good Money
Good Money is a joint initiative of Good Shepherd, NAB, and the Victorian Government providing safe and affordable no interest loans to customers on low incomes. We are the good guys and a safer alternative to pay day lenders.
Your responsibilities:
Working with a small, close-knit team, you will:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to people enquiring about microfinance loans
- Support clients with their loan application, including supporting clients to prepare a budget (training is provided)
- Contacting clients with outcomes of their loan application
- Support the Victorian team by picking up overflow from increased demand for microfinance loans
- Provide administration and project support to the Victorian manager
- Support community engagement, partnership development and marketing activities to increase the number of clients who access Good Money services
About you:
- Our ideal candidate will have experience in the community sector. Anyone with experience with microfinance or loans will be highly regarded.
- We require someone with experience working with people with complex needs and people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent customer service skills and respect and empathy for people is a must.
- The role will be working from one of our four locations in Victoria - Collingwood, Dandenong, Geelong or Morwell. Anyone who is able to work from multiple sites will be highly regarded.
