Fronditha Care has been a leader in the provision of Aged Care services in Victoria for the past 42 years and is now expanding its services in Sydney, New South Wales.

We focus on providing unique services both in residential and community care for elderly people of Greek speaking background in Victoria and of multilingual background in New South Wales.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Community Services division as a Greek speaking Home Care Packages Supervisor. The role focuses on care solutions to enable clients to achieve their care plan goals thereby enhancing their quality of life whilst continuing to live independently at home. This role will be instrumental in the establishment of Fronditha Care’s Community Services - Sydney division. As Fronditha Care is a niche provider to the Greek community, the ability to communicate in Greek is a priority.

The position of a Home Care Packages Supervisor is responsible to:

  • Work within Fronditha Care’s Consumer Directed Care Model of Service.
  • Oversee the newly established Community Services division in Sydney.
  • Provide leadership and management to Care Advisors, administration and direct care staff through proper support, supervision and training.
  • Ensure service delivery meets all associated funding regulations, quality standards and the Aged Care Act 1997 as well as Fronditha Care’s quality assurance goals.
  • Undertake appropriate assessments and care plans with clients whilst maintaining and ensuring clients’ records are up to date.
  • Monitor records of clients’ budget plans.
  • Experience with CRM Systems/use of online platforms
  • Be on after hours ‘on call’ service on a rotating basis within the Home Care Packages team.
  • Have a ‘can-do’ attitude

Requirements / Key Selection criteria

The successful candidate will have qualifications in management or social sciences, work experience in a leadership capacity within the sector, as well as a sound understanding of the ageing process and dementia care. The selection criteria include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience in supporting clients with dementia.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic team.
  • Enhance Fronditha Care’s high profile and visibility within the broader community
  • High level of motivation and problem solving skills
  • Sound WHS awareness
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills
  • Current driver’s license with access to own vehicle
