We are looking for a Front of House professional who is passionate about people and creating elevated arts experiences. You will take the lead in coordinating our Front of House functions, including the box office, visitor experience, bar services, and retail.

The successful person will take pride in their care of our visitors and a team of casual FOH staff, overseeing all aspects of the visitor experience in a collaborative and dynamic venue where creativity and community meet.

Front of House Coordinator Role:

The Front of House Coordinator is a key role that coordinates all aspects of Front of House for our year-round suite of events and activations by:

• Always applying a visitor and audience experience lens when planning and delivering events (including accessibility and cultural safety).
• Providing sound and accurate advice on front of house requirements to the program team and venue hire coordinator to deliver events at a high level of quality.
• Proactively communicating requirements to all Front of House staff to facilitate the smooth delivery of events.
• Executing key tasks ahead of events to ensure they run smoothly.
• Leading the front of house staff team, including the coordination and delivery of training, induction and quarterly team meetings.
• Leading the box office, bar and retail functions, ensuring these are managed with accuracy and that regular control and financial reporting is completed.
• Attending production and kick off meetings where required to plan front of house services collaboratively.
• Keeping front of house operations running smoothly and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
