- We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated person to join the Food Co-operative.
- Your responsibilities may change as needs arise, so the successful candidate must be flexible and able to work as a team member in a demanding environment with shifting priorities.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Being a member of the Food Co-operative
- Manage the accounts payable, payroll & weekly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare end of month accounts including allocations of expenses to different tracking categories/profit centres.
- Prepare quarterly BAS statements
Selection Criteria
- At least 2 years overall bookkeeping and Xero experience. Must have an understanding of tracking categories in Xero and basic cost accounting principles.
- Clearly communicate key information from the accounts payable, payroll & weekly bank reconciliations to the Board
- Understanding and ability to check for and fix any errors with confidence.
- Great problem solving skills.
- Ideally demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to join an active, engaging and inclusive work environment.
