The Sidney Myer Fund and The Myer Foundation are two separate philanthropic entities of Myer family philanthropy with complementary, programs and activities. As two of the longest standing, most respected and influential philanthropic entities in Australia the Fund and Foundation continue the legacy of Myer family generosity, through four generations of the Myer family, who give in many ways, to make significant and lasting changes in our society.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Program Manager, in close collaboration with the team, will help realise the goals of these two iconic philanthropic institutions. Including a focus on Sustainability and Environment, you will build strong and proactive relationships across the grants portfolio to support grant seekers, and to make informed recommendations to SMF Trustees and TMF Directors to enable strategic grant making. Ensuring sound monitoring and evaluation frameworks you will build a knowledge of best practice and contribute to the overall growth of the sector. The Program Manager will also assist in the delivery of communication material including the Annual Report and quarterly newsletters.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, with relevant tertiary-level education. Passionate about creating social change, ideally in the areas of Sustainability and Environment, you will be driven to improve the lives of future generations of Australia. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential and you will demonstrate the diplomacy and intelligence to work with Myer family members and across the not-for-profit sector. A creative thinker, with strong research skills, able to implement innovative solutions to extant and emerging problems.
