About the role:

FYA is seeking an experienced Education Content Writer to develop its $20 Boss teacher and student resources for 2019.

The Education Content Writer will be responsible for delivering the project end to end working with our schools and entrepreneurship programs. Working on FYA's $20 Boss program, the Education Content Writer will be responsible for researching new and best practice trends in learning, consulting teachers, embedding user findings to draft and create our new program resources. These resources will be used by our teachers and students when delivering $20 Boss in their school and will be hosted online and offline.

$20 Boss is Australia's largest secondary school entrepreneurship program with over 30,000 young people participating since 2014. We are set to scale even further, and a very exciting time to join the program and help contribute to developing world-leading resources to embed enterprise learning into the education system. Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, creation and implementation of new and revamped $20 Boss teacher and student resources which would include lesson plans, activities, homework, worksheets, case studies and assessments
  • Work collaboratively with the $20 Boss team to implement innovative teaching and student-led learning approaches.
  • Design lessons and activities that are mapped to the Australian Curriculum, Vocation and other identified frameworks
  • Support the $20 Boss team in the selection and implementation of an online platform
  • Provide advice on teacher support, professional development and student learning
