Focal community services is a long standing community service provider specialising in the delivery of disability and aged care support for a diverse client base. We are a registered NDIS provider and offer a range of in-home assistance, community access, recreational activities, respite and after school and vacation care services.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a motivated HR Co-ordinator to join the team. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role is an integral position within the organisation and in partnership with the leadership team, shares responsibility for attracting, retaining and developing the right people to drive our strategic intentions.

On a day to day basis, tasks will include:

  • High volume, end to end recruitment
  • Managing the candidate on-boarding experience
  • Maintaining relevant, accurate and up-to-date data within the HRIMS and LMS systems to ensure compliance standards are met
  • HR Administration including preparing employment contracts and communications
  • Reporting on people analytics and statics
  • Assisting the HR Manager with adhoc projects and HR initiatives to support our 'Employer of Choice' strategy.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will enjoy working 'hands-on' in a fast paced environment. You are ambitious and looking to grow your knowledge, skills and experience in the delivery of best practice HR. You are comfortable in managing changing priorities and are geared towards driving continuous improvements.

Ideally our candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role with a strong recruitment background
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks and prioritise work
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong internal customer focus
  • Excellent relationship management with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain trust and credibility with all stakeholders
  • A high level of empathy, initiative and creativity will contribute to your solutions orientated nature
  • A current Blue Card, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check are mandatory requirements
  • Strong MS Office skills and experience in HRIS and candidate management systems will be viewed favourably
