A unique and exciting opportunity to work with the NFP sector in a dynamic and varied events focused role. 

Include a Charity (IAC) is a social change campaign of the peak body for professional fundraising, Fundraising Institute Australia. Its objective is to help create a future where gifts to charities are always included in people’s wills. IAC is a membership-based campaign so member/customer service is vital. To drive the campaign forward we are seeking an organised, personable, and energetic Assistant to help develop and deliver the campaign through events, conferences, marketing and communications and online activities. There is also the opportunity to assist the FIA Events team with other events, both online and in person.

Reporting to the Campaign Director, this role will coordinate and deliver member support, IAC events and communications strategy, administration and CRM maintenance, research and educational components of the campaign. There are also opportunities to work on other events for the organisation as needed.

• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills – in-person, calls and e-mails.
• Experience in a range of IT, CRM, and digital/online platforms - such as events, website, editing, design.
• Event planning and management skills and experience (online/in person).
• An understanding of digital, brand and communications, to members and external media.
• Ability to support the FIA Conference & Events team on specific projects for the annual FIA Conference.
• A self-starter who can work independently, manage a high volume of work and the ability to deliver on multiple initiatives to deadline.
• Time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Passionate about the purpose of Include a Charity and support of the fundraising sector.
