Our People & Culture team are looking for a Work Health and Safety Advisor

We have recently redeveloped our work plan to realign with our new organisational strategy and are looking for someone to support us to continue promoting a healthy, safe, and thriving staff team.

  • Can you picture yourself assisting with the development, implementation, promotion, and monitoring of our organisational work health and safety management system?
  • Are you passionate about advising managers on how to minimise the risk of injuries and incidents and promote a positive workplace culture?
  • Would you like to work alongside a collaborative team of people and culture practitioners to design and implement wellbeing initiatives?

  • Qualifications in health and safety
  • Contemporary industry knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of WHS systems
  • Industry knowledge and experience in undertaking reviews including inspections, audits, safety observations, risk/hazard management, and WHS prevention management frameworks to assist the organisation in meeting its WHS objectives and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Approach to balancing stakeholder relationships and crucial conversations
  • Ability to be "tech savvy" and use WHS systems to drive a systematic approach to WHS management
  • Passion to keep up to date with current WHS trends, legislative and regulatory frameworks including psychosocial risk management
