Dentists (Paid & Voluntary)

Rev Bill Crews Foundation
  • We are now sourcing Dentists on a part-time, casual or pro-bono basis.

The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is one of Sydney's largest frontline charities and has been operating for 35 years.

Our mission is to provide assistance to address the cause and effect of homelessness and poverty, as well as unemployment, faced by marginalised individuals. We succeed in achieving this through a combination of caring services like food provision, medical and social welfare, and education support.

Good oral health is directly linked to better general health, and in relation to the homeless, who on average suffer at least one chronic health condition, it’s critically important they receive regular dental care.

Through generous public support we have been able to upgrade and re-open the doors to our free dental clinic. Our clinic will treat increasing numbers of homeless people, those facing financial hardship, as well as refugees and asylum seekers who have no access to Medicare.

If you would like to be part of ‘Bill’s Crew’ and support our clinic on a casual, part-time, or pro bono basis, either now or in the future, please reach out.

You will be part of providing more than one million dollars’ worth of treatment each year to the most disadvantaged and overlooked individuals in our community and be supported by an amazing dental hygienist. You will also be part of a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, allied health, and case workers.

You must hold the following documents:

  • Professional Dental registration with AHPRA
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Working with Children Check
  • Police Clearance

To apply

Everyone should be able to access to mainstream oral health care and it shouldn’t be a luxury for only those who can afford it.

If you’re looking to work for an organisation that is truly making a difference in the community, one mouth at a time, please send through your resume.

Bill Crews Charitable Trust and the Exodus Foundation are separate but co-operating entities. Both collaborate to meet the services and programs delivered under the Rev. Bill Crews Foundation brand name.

All Bill Crews Foundation employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and to comply with relevant booster vaccinations approved by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status will be required prior to commencing this role.

Applicants must hold work rights for Australia.
