As a Relationship Manager in the Active Philanthropy team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the distribution of approximately $120 million per year to support positive social change in Australia.

About the role:

Your main responsibility will be to work with "active" givers who use ancillary funds and structured giving vehicles to power their philanthropy. You will be working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including individual philanthropists and their families, next-generation givers, trusted advisors, and CEOs who want to make a difference in the social sector. Your role will involve onboarding new clients, designing effective giving strategies, leveraging connections in the for-purpose sector, and exploring opportunities to connect philanthropists with for-purpose partners.

What you'll need to succeed:

You will need to have an adaptive mindset, be able to think laterally and pay attention to detail. You will work with other subject-matter experts to provide strategic granting advice to clients and ensure that we fulfill our fiduciary duties as Trustee. Strong financial literacy skills and an understanding of corporate giving and the nuances of the corporate mindset in a philanthropy setting will be strongly regarded.
