Full time 12 month contract position with possibility of extension. Shift work and Saturdays for some shifts with potential extension to Sundays as service develops.

As part the new Epilepsy Smart Australia Program, the National Epilepsy Support Service (NESS) you will be the first point of contact for our clients nationwide. You will provide professional, caring and empathetic telephone-based support. With the knowledge you bring with you and then the knowledge gained about Epilepsy, you will be able to identify callers needs and refer them to the appropriate service within the Epilepsy Foundation or external services.
The role does require you to work Full Time on a rostered basis Monday to Saturday between the hours initially of 9.00am and 5.00pm. This has the possibility to be extended into the future from 9.00am to 8.00pm.
This is an NDIS risk-assessed role and safety checks apply.
You will be part of a team dedicated to providing excellent support to the community as a whole and those with Epilepsy. The NESS Team will consist of the NESS Coordinator, NESS Workers/Intake and you will be working closely with the Epilepsy Support Worker and Education & Training Teams.
