Who we are

Epilepsy Smart Australia is an Australian Government funded project to develop and implement a national program to deliver high quality epilepsy-related services and supports throughout Australia.   The project is supported through a national partnership of epilepsy organisations in all States and Territories. About you

With a background in consumer engagement you will join a national project management team committed to improving outcomes for people living with epilepsy. You will work with the national team to create opportunities for people living with epilepsy to meaningfully engage with and inform service design and delivery.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop policies, procedures, processes, roles and responsibilities to support the implementation of a consumer engagement framework
  • Develop materials to promote consumer engagement and participation
  • Coordinate consumer engagement activities nationally, ensuring effective communication between all key stakeholders
  • Serve as a national contact point for consumer engagement, providing advice, guidance and sharing best practice ideas nationally
  • Provide strategic guidance to support decision making in relation to the consumer engagement program of work

The project management team is based in Melbourne however given the national nature of the Program you may work from anywhere within Australia.
