By screening the world's best environmental films, and connecting audiences with environmental experts, leaders and changemakers, EFFA aims to inform, educate, engage and empower our audiences to understand the environmental challenges we face, and to take personal and collective action to address these challenges.
EFFA 2019 will be held in Melbourne from Thursday 24 October to Friday 1 November, with screenings, panels and events held at Cinema Nova and Palace Westgarth Cinema.
In 2019, EFFA is holding more screenings and events than ever before, meaning that event management is a critical component of the overall programming and delivery of the festival.
A strategic thinker, you will also enjoy working at a hands-on level, taking responsibility for the management of volunteers and logistics to ensure that events run smoothly and on time.
This role, which is based in Melbourne, reports to the Festival Director and the Deputy Director, but works very closely with the Impact Manager on guest management and the delivery of speaker management and panel sessions.
