We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of NDIS and Aged Care State Manager.

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of NDIS and aged care services within the designated state, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a client-centred approach.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans for the effective delivery of NDIS and aged care services within the state.
    • Provide visionary leadership to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
  2. Service Delivery Oversight:

    • Oversee the implementation of NDIS and aged care services, ensuring high-quality and person-centered care.
    • Collaborate with regional managers to monitor service delivery metrics and outcomes.
  3. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure all services comply with NDIS and aged care regulatory standards.
    • Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including NDIS representatives, aged care authorities, and community organisations.
    • Represent the organisation at relevant forums, conferences, and meetings.
  5. Team Management:

    • Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work culture.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify opportunities for professional development.
  6. Financial Management:

    • Manage the budget for NDIS and aged care services, ensuring effective allocation of resources and financial sustainability.
    • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost-saving measures.
  7. Quality Assurance:

    • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to continuously improve service delivery and client outcomes.
    • Conduct internal and external audits to maintain high standards of care.
  8. Community Engagement:

    • Work closely with the community to understand and address the unique needs and preferences of clients.
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with local service providers.
  9. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Analyse data related to service delivery, client satisfaction, and other relevant metrics.
    • Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the disability services and aged care sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of NDIS and aged care regulations and standards.
  • Strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management and budgeting.
  • Relevant qualifications in business management, health services, or a related field.
