A fantastic opportunity now exists for a full-time Personal Care Attendant to join our dedicated aged care team, based in Pukatja (Ernabella), in remote North West, South Australia.

Working under the direction of the Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering person-centred care to residents of the Tjilpiku Pampaku Ngura aged care facility.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing individual care plans;
  • Assisting residents to achieve maximum independence, with consideration given to physical and psychological impairments that may exist;
  • Delivering personal care in a culturally safe and appropriate manner;
  • Observing and reporting all changes in residents' conditions to the Registered Nurse and Residential Care Manager; and
  • Reporting in a timely fashion on all complaints and incidents.

This could also be a great opportunity for an existing EN looking for a change in role or to move away from a traditional hospital environment.
