Tender Loving Care Disability Services (TLC) is a registered and certified provider of NDIS services, committed to providing people with disabilities reasonable, individualised support services to reduce and eliminate barriers to community access, and support the successful achievement of their life goals. With over 20 years of combined experience, the TLC leadership team is passionate about what they do, and have recently expanded their services from New South Wales to South-East Queensland.

About the Opportunities

Due to continued growth, Tender Loving Care has fantastic opportunities available for Community Service Workers to join their team, on either a part-time permanent or contract basis.

Reporting to the QLD Direct Services Facilitator, you will be responsible for working with clients in ways that reflect their communication style, health needs and personal goals; assisting them to achieve independence in their daily lives.

Some of your key duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Assisting, supporting, and developing independence in daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and health care;
  • Ensuring medication is administered to clients according to the client and organisational guidelines;
  • Implementing and monitoring NDIS plans and assisting clients to achieve goals through strategy development and implementation;
  • Implementing all client support plans, including behaviour intervention support, eating and drinking, epilepsy management and mobility plans;
  • Identifying community engagement opportunities and supporting clients to access activities, connections and networking opportunities outside of the service system; and
  • Ensuring safe, lawful and responsible operation of any TLC motor vehicles as you drive clients to activities and programs, including pick-ups and drop-offs.

You will be rewarded for your hard work and dedication with an attractive hourly rate of $26.50 - $32.00 (negotiable based on qualifications and experience) with annual increments.
