Seeking an experienced Partnerships and Business Development Manager for a highly respected and progressive NFP who provide a range of services and programs for vulnerable people.

With a clear strategic plan, they continue to expand and tailor their services, programs, awareness and reach to meet the growing needs of the community including all forms of gender and age groups exposed to domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development of sustainable ongoing income
  • Build partnerships across the Public, Private and Commercial sectors
  • Engage long term partnerships to fund the prevention and intervention development strategy
  • Implement strategic fundraising for new business relationships
  • Strengthening Northern Corridor Alliance (providers)
  • Build and strengthen long term partnerships with other NFP’s and Providers
  • Create community awareness
  • Conduct prospecting research and strategise effective ways of building long term relationships with new donors
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop the presentations for fundraising events, donor meetings and other partnerships
  • Grow geographical locations of services in partnership with the Local Area Manager (local, national & international) over designated timeframes
  • Build and develop all corporate partnerships, tenders and grants
  • Grant funding for other key deliverables and projects
  • Work with CEO to develop diversified and sustainable income streams
  • Work on development of social enterprise models
  • Develop partnerships with academic institutions to support social enterprise initiatives

Key Requirements

  • Must have Fundraising and Corporate partnerships experience
  • Ideally have exposure to NFP industry sector
  • Demonstrated experience in managing an ongoing pipeline
  • Reporting, grants and tender writing experience
  • Experienced in presenting to donors and corporate partners
  • Demonstrated experience in developing fundraising strategies from inception
