EDVOS is seeking an experienced HR leader to work with the CEO and Executive Team to deliver the organisation’s new Strategic Plan for 2021-2024. Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for delivering on People and Culture initiatives that will support the organisation’s strategy and supporting capability development across the organisation to drive a supportive and high-performing culture that values service excellence.

EDVOS provides an integrated range of support and services to empower women and children who have experienced and are responding to family violence. Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager - People and Culture will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to build and enhance our organisational capability with a focus on organisational development; health, safety and wellbeing, people & culture systems, HR reporting as well as contributing more broadly to the strategic leadership of the organisation. Working closely with the CEO and Executive leadership team to deliver the EDVOS Strategic Plan for 2021-2024 and EDVOS Theory of Change, this role will focus on P&C deliverables to enable EDVOS to position itself as an employer of choice and sustain a positive and contemporary organisational culture.

To be successful in this role, you will be a strategic thinker with a strong contemporary knowledge of HR management who has track record as a senior leader managing high performing teams.
With tertiary qualifications in an HR, Business Management or a related field, you will have experience leading cultural change in complex reform environments. Proven ability to lead the development and implementation of complex and sensitive projects together with your creative mindset and the ability to lead, manage and motivate employees to their full potential will ensure you deliver successfully. With a mix of operational and strategic experience, you will have demonstrated ability to coach organisational leaders to support and implement change.
Your extensive experience in strategic, tactical and operational work related to people, safety, quality and corporate services, more broadly, will underpin your ability to drive positive change in the business and drive excellence in performance.
