Turning Point is a national treatment, research and education centre that provides leadership in the alcohol and drug, gambling and mental health sectors. Combining research with service innovation, surveillance, system enhancements, education, capacity building and specialist support, Turning Point is a recognised centre of excellence that assists services, communities and governments to respond to current and emerging issues. The Associate Program Director Turning Point Eastern Treatment Services is accountable for the effective leadership and operational management of Turning Point Eastern Treatment Services. The Associate Program Director will drive strategy and direction, innovation, clinical safety, quality and risk management as well as financial and activity management within their areas of responsibility.
The position will oversee the enhancement of existing clinical services, new program implementation and program innovations that are focused on agreed strategic outcomes. The Associate Program Director will work closely with the Program Director, the Executive Clinical Director of Turning Point, the Clinical Director Turning Point Eastern Treatment Services and other senior staff to enhance quality improvement, monitor client service efficiencies and promote evidence based practice for a suite of clinical services.
The service profile includes delivery of inpatient and outpatient alcohol and drug services across the eastern metropolitan catchment. Also, as a result of the recent Mental Health Royal Commission, a key area of focus will be the implementation of new models of care, which will include working with the Eastern Health Mental Health and Well Being program and the newly established Hamilton Centre.
