Emma House is currently seeking a After Hours Family Violence Practitioner.

Emma House Domestic Violence Services is a feminist and client-lead organisation that aims to reduce the impact of domestic and family violence on individuals, women and children and our community.
Established in 1979, Emma House is the leading specialist domestic and family violence service in South West Victoria, operating a range of services that includes crisis accommodation, crisis response, counselling and support, case management, a specialist community legal practice and specialist children’s support services.
Emma House and The SAFV Centre have recently entered into a partnership for the joining of the two organisations through a proposed merger. The merger is pending government approval to take place during 2023. The SAFV Centre is providing leadership support to Emma House.
The After Hours Famiy Violence Practitioner position is responsible to provide a specialist high quality direct service delivery after hours’ response for women, young people and children experiencing family violence. The role works on a rostered, on call basis on weekends, weeknights and public holidays and is required to participate in monthly team meetings, debriefing, group supervision, annual performance and development reviews and training.
