Due to growth, our Regional Support Coordination team is looking for multiple ongoing Recovery Coaches to join the team on a Full-time or Part-time basis!
Are you a customer-centric person with a minimum Certificate IV Peer Work, Mental Health, or have equivalent qualifications, training and/or experience in a mental health-related field and has lived and/or learned experience of mental ill-health and/or psychosocial disability? If so, then you might be exactly who we're looking for!
With the specialist knowledge gained through personal lived or learned experience the Recovery Coach will be able to support the customer with their journey of recovery towards leading a contributing and fulfilling life. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively organise your time to allow you to work flexibly and directly with customers as they require and make choices for their support.
As the Recovery Coach you will be based in Narre Warren and work across the Southern Metro Region, to assist a caseload of NDIS customers to build capacity, strengths and resilience through strong respectful relationships, plus ongoing skilled coaching to support people with complex psychosocial disabilities to live their best life. By working collaboratively with customers, families, carers and the broader service system to identify, plan, design and coordinate NDIS supports enabling them to take control and better manage complex challenges of day-to-day living.
Reporting into the Recovery Coach Team Leader, you will work alongside Regional Support Coordination teams to best serve our customers in need.
