About the role

We are looking for an empathetic, professional, and reliable full-time ongoing Receptionist/Administration Officer to join our SURe AOD Team! This important role provides support to our clients, multidisciplinary team and program staff. Primarily based from the Cranbourne Office, but you may be asked to work from the Narre Warren site if needed.

What you'll be doing

In this varied role, no two days are ever the same! You will:

  • Be the welcoming face of the SURe teams and programs, engaging with EACH clients, staff, and stakeholders, providing professional, friendly, and helpful assistance,
  • Provide strong administrative support to the program (e.g. clerical duties, appointment bookings/reminders, processing AOD referrals, database and document management, maintain spreadsheets, minute taking),
  • Act as the Site Liasion, building relationships with relevant EACH departments (e.g. Purchasing, Maintenance, and IT) and ensuring our site complies with relevant policies regarding office safety, and
  • Implement best administrative practices and ensure all aspects of the office operations run smoothly to optimise the team's and customer's experience.

Who you'll be working with

Reporting to the Manager - Therapeutic Services, you will be working within a well-established team of Counsellors, Outreach Workers, and a Specialist Family Violence Advisor who are based out of Cranbourne and Narre Warren.

About you

To thrive in this role, you will:

  • Have a minimum Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent, and/or substantial experience working in customer service, health or social and community services,
  • Knowledge of office accounting/finance procedures.
  • Be a friendly, confident, and outgoing communicator who enjoys caring for people and helping to connect them to the support that they need,

  • Have a desire and ability to work both independently and collaboratively,
  • Be proficient in the use of digital technologies, systems, and software, including Microsoft 365.
