About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Sustainability Coordinator to drive sustainability, CSR and ESG initiatives aligned to DUAL’s core values across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Our 3 key pillars of focus include:

  • Changing the insurance narrative
  • Being a responsible business
  • Giving back

Changing the insurance narrative:

  • Supporting the development of solutions where insurance can be a force for good
  • Supporting the CEO’s role as a Mental Health ambassador and coordinating presentations and speaking engagements

Being a responsible business:

  • Coordinating the ANZ Sustainability Committee
  • Engaging with the Sustainability Champions in each office
  • Identifying and driving sustainable environmental initiatives and engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders on key environmental metrics (plastic audits, procurement, travel policies, measuring carbon emissions, etc)
  • Providing ESG support and reporting as required to our parent entity
  • Coordinating the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and engaging with the RAP Committee
  • Coordinating Governance and Policy initiatives and updates with the General Counsel team

Giving back:

  • Supporting DUAL ANZ charity partnerships and initiatives
  • Coordinating DUAL’s Health and Wellbeing program including coordinating registrations, donations and communicating updates to participants
  • Driving employee fundraising and engagement across all offices
  • Identifying and driving participation in volunteering opportunities
  • Administering DUAL’s charitable giving platform
  • Utilising DUAL’s internal communications tools to inform and engage
  • Reporting on all charity, volunteering and health and wellbeing initiatives as required

About You

As CSR & Sustainability Coordinator you will:

  • Have a minimum of 1-2 years marketing, communications or CSR background, and ideally have experience in event coordination
  • Embrace being part of a fast-paced, changing environment and be able to work calmly under pressure
  • Be confident in communicating effectively with all levels of the business and external partners
  • Have strong relationship building skills
  • Be able to think on your feet and multitask to manage multiple initiatives at the one time
  • Be confident in working both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Be willing and able to attend out of core business hours calls from time to time with teams in our broader international business based outside of Australia
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for CSR and sustainability within the business sector
