Are you passionate about workplace diversity and inclusion (D&I) and have excellent training and facilitation skills? This is a rare opportunity to work for Diversity Council Australia, the peak body leading D&I in Australian workplaces. 

We are looking for a Trainer/Facilitator to join us for a part-time and flexible position, starting asap. Location is preferably East Coast of Australia in a hybrid working environment with access to a vibrant CBD co-working space in Sydney and Melbourne.

About the role 

  • Lead and facilitate DCA’s Racism at Work Training programs with members, including members who work with culturally and racially marginalised women.
  • Deliver other Knowledge Programs on Diversity and Inclusion as required.
  • Partner with the Membership Education Director to develop a Quality Assurance strategy for our membership education and deliver on it.
  • Run our post program evaluation surveys, analyse the results, and suggest changes as appropriate. 
  • Suggest and implement content and information updates for programs to keep them up to date with our research. 

About you 

You have a passion for and strong interest in diversity and inclusion. You bring a strong sense of initiative and collaboration, combined with a continuous learning mindset.  

Relevant Experience: 

  • Experience in corporate/academic facilitation and running training or education programs for large groups of people.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in Diversity and Inclusion, race, racism and the intersections of race and gender will be highly regarded. 
  • Experience in quality assurance for training programs and updating training content.
  • Familiarity with evaluation tools such as surveys would be desirable.

Lived experiences of race-based discrimination are relevant to this role.
