About the role:

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM), the role is responsible for managing the organisation’s action plans behind the SHRFV program. The role acts as the key point of contact and escalation for clients presenting with potential issues of family violence. To aid in your success you will be supported and mentored through Melbourne Health.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to play a key role in enhancing how support is provided to patients who may be experiencing family violence.

To be successful in this role you need:

  • Tertiary qualification in social work.
  • Knowledge and understanding of sensitive and complex issues affecting health policy and service delivery in the Victorian context.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the family violence policy and service delivery environment in Victoria.
  • Experience working in a hospital in a clinical role with people affected by family violence.
  • Clinical peer-to-peer supervision skills and experience.
