Work as part of a committed team of Health Promotion professionals that provide prevention programs for high risk Victorians.
Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) was established in 1996 and is the leading public oral health agency in Victoria.
Our aim is to improve the oral health of all Victorians, particularly vulnerable groups, and those most in need. We help to provide Victorians with quality oral healthcare through The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM) and by purchasing dental services for public patients from more than 50 community health agencies throughout Victoria.
We acknowledge that diversity increases our ability to transform our organisation to achieve better health outcomes.
As part of the Health Promotion team, the Health Promotion Officer will work within the Healthy Families, Healthy Smiles (HFHS) program. HFHS aims to improve the oral health of Victorian pregnant women and children aged 0-3 years through capacity building of health professionals and early childhood professionals. This role will contribute to the development and delivery of a range of health promotion initiatives that reach Victorians at risk of poor oral health outcomes.
