Your Community Health provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental and allied health services and support programs to anyone, through a combination of outreach, client-based and centre-based activities. Our purpose is to enable health, wellbeing and dignity for all people in northern Melbourne by providing responsive and accessible services. We provide priority access to those most at risk of health inequalities and those that may face barriers to accessing traditional health services.

About the role

Reporting to the Physiotherapy Coordinator, the Exercise Physiologist will provide centre, home and community-based services to primarily adult clients with a range of health conditions.

Your passion and commitment will see you:

  • Provide exercise physiology services for clients eligible for Commonwealth Home Support Program, Home and Community Care - Program for Younger People, Community Health Program, Early Intervention in Chronic Disease and Consumer Directed Care clients including NDIS and Home Care Packages
  • Work with vulnerable clients and those from diverse backgrounds
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary approach
  • Have highly developed communication and organisational skills

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Relevant Exercise Physiology qualifications
  • Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) or eligible for accreditation.
  • Relevant experience working with adult and older adult populations providing individual and group assessments and interventions
  • Victorian Drivers Licence
