A little about the role

  • Working as an active member of the podiatry team, providing holistic client centred podiatric care to members of the Hume and Whittlesea communities.
  • Applying evidence based clinical skills and knowledge in the treatment of podiatric conditions.
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement client centred care plans
  • Be involved in quality assurance and service development projects to enhance innovative and efficient practices
  • Supervising Grade 1 staff members, podiatry students and Allied Health Assistants
  • Liaising with external partners to ensure a quality service is provided to our communities
  • Actively engage in team meetings and case discussions both within the podiatry team and the Physical Wellbeing team.

About you

  • Qualification in Podiatry with registration as a podiatrist with AHPRA
  • Sound theoretical knowledge base and the commitment to continuing Professional Development to ensure best practice/evidence-based interventions. 
  • Well-developed clinical skills and demonstrated ability to support a coordinated approach by working with a range of stakeholders to improve health outcomes as agreed with your clients.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years working as Podiatrist. Applicants with less experience will be considered.
  • Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team environment

The fine print

  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, hold a valid WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Full driver’s license and travel between sites is required
  • Require current registration as a Podiatrist with AHPRA
  • All candidates must have the right to work in Australia.
  • Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination or Medical Exception
