THE ROLE

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to support Homes Victoria's ambitious agenda to deliver more social and affordable housing for more Victorians. This role will work across Homes Victoria to support teams and projects to achieve their objectives and to enable effective program delivery, particularly within the Big Housing Build (BHB).

The Strategic Projects lead will be part of a collaborative and innovative team working to provide solutions to challenges across Homes Victoria. The role sits within the Delivery Strategy team which works to translate policy into delivery, and to harness expertise across Homes Victoria to ensure that the organisation is working strategically and effectively. Examples of the team's work include analysing data on progress towards the BHB commitments and proposing course adjustments, developing strategies for determining locations of social and affordable housing, and policy development in emerging areas.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  1. Provide rapid high quality analysis, authoritative advice and sound policy and strategy recommendations to senior management and government by synthesising complex dispersed information.
  2. Have an advanced ability to identify strategic opportunities to influence organisational strategies and processes
  3. Lead the development of initiatives and frameworks that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
