This position is based within the Student Support Services Branch in the Inner East Area, North East Victoria Region. It is an ongoing position located in Glen Waverley Regional offices.

As a Student Support Services Social Worker you will work within a multidisciplinary area-based team to build the capabilities of schools to support children and young people to access education. You will work with your team to provide a comprehensive range of services to school aged students to improve student wellbeing and learning outcomes.

You will have a demonstrated capacity to work in a team of experienced professionals in the delivery of initiatives in an educational environment, respond to critical incidents and support the needs of schools.

You will have highly developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to liaise with a range of people in the education community and support services.
