Looking for a permanent job as a park ranger in Central Queensland?
As the second in Charge within the Nebo Work Unit, you will report directly to and support the Ranger in Charge to plan and deliver the day-to-day work program in accordance with the business plan.
You will lead and guide a small team, inspire enthusiasm, and ensure their safety and wellbeing. The responsibilities of this role are diverse. You will work alone or with others to deliver annual fire, pest, natural resource, visitor and asset management programs, and undertake plant and infrastructure maintenance tasks in protected areas and State forests.
