Our Beautiful Kindy

We are an 88 place purpose-built extended hours kindergarten situated on the beautiful grounds of Weir State School. Being on a school site allows us many opportunities to experience what school life is about through our transitions program. We also benefit from regular library visits and inclusion in school events such as sports day, NAIDOC celebrations and concerts.

Our centre prides itself on bringing nature into both the indoor and outdoor spaces which include an abundance of native flora and fauna. 

Our Kindy is now looking for a Lead Educator who is passionate about working alongside children in their early years and will contribute to and assist in leading a team that values open communication and sees children as competent and capable learners.

In this role you will be working 1pm - 6pm Monday to Friday during school terms with additional hours during school holidays.

You will need to hold, or be willing to enrol in and work towards

• Lead Educators: Diploma qualification in Early Childhood
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
• Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card 

If you are studying or hold a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education you will also be eligible for our Lead Educator roles.

C&K will cover the initial and renewal costs of a Blue Card and Police Check for all permanent and fixed term contract employees prior to the commencement of their duties.
