About the role:

At C&K Herston Road Community Long Day Care, we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Group Leader to join the Centre. The successful educator will pride themselves on their passion and dedication for early education within the learning environment. We are looking for someone with exceptional skills to build relationships with families and children, who has a fun and enthusiastic approach to their new role with C&K. You will be an educator that is dedicated to furthering their own learning as an early childhood professional and ability to be flexible and work collaboratively within a team environment.

• Commencing 24th May
• Currently working with the 0-2 year old  age group
• Rotating shifts with open and closes required fortnightly
• Professional development opportunities and work within a team of experienced          educators
• Potential career progression

Ideal applicants will have:

• Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent qualification) 
• Hold a current blue card (or willing to obtain) 
• Current first aid/CPR including asthma and anaphylaxis 
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential 
• An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment 
• An ability to document observations of children's behaviour and development
• An ability to implement a planned program, ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met .
