About the service:

At C&K Cambooya we offer quality education and care for children aged in the year before they attend Prep. We are a dedicated kindergarten so your child will take part in a structured program with other children their age. 

We are located at 3-5 Harrow Street, Cambooya, near Cambooya State School.  Our Centre has stimulating indoor and outdoor environments that offer a range of opportunities for children to learn through play.

About the role:

C&K Cambooya Community Kindergarten is currently seeking an experienced Assistant for a full time, 37.5 hours per week, role commencing 19th April. As an experienced and qualified Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing quality care and education program in co-operation with the teacher.

Ideal applicants will have: 

• An ACECQA recognised qualification - already obtained or working towards.
• Prior experience working in the early childhood profession.
• Previous experience with inclusion support is highly desirable
• Awareness of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLF)
• Willingness to learn and implement C&K's Curriculum Approach: Listening and Learning Together.
• Experience assisting with the implementation of a planned program, ensuring the needs of the group and individual children are met. Ability to obtain a Blue Card, First Aid and National police check
• An ability to obtain a Blue Card, First Aid and National police check
• Knowledge of and commitment to children's safety and wellbeing.
