- This is a full time role in Queenscliff, Victoria.
As a Program Planner you will:
- Facilitate and deliver an excellent program experience to all CBTS participants
- Commit to the continual improvement of your facilitation / delivery skills
- Develop and deliver training to the CBTS internal and casual camp leaders when required
- Mentor and support new emerging CBTS camp leaders on program
- Support the team with the planning, administration and preparation of programs
- Assist with the management and maintenance of all program equipment and logistics
- Operate in a professional manner with an optimistic approach
- Quickly and effectively develop positive relationships with participants and staff
- Manage the safety and risks associated with delivering outdoor activity programs
- Facilitate all programs in alignment with CBTS policies, risk management strategies and standard operating procedures
- Support Management in achievement of strategic objectives relevant to program delivery
- Other duties as required by management and CBTS senior staff
Essential experience and skills:
- Qualification in Outdoor Education, Community development, Social work or relevant field
- Exceptional team player, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with peers to achieve outcomes
- Thorough knowledge of work health and safety and duty of care particularly in relation to outdoor education, hazard identification, risk management and child safety standards
- Outstanding organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook
- Flexibility and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate to staff and participants from diverse backgrounds
- Current Working with Children and Police Check
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Covid vaccination certificate
Desirable Qualifications:
- First Aid and current CPR
- Community Surf Life Saving Certificate
- Light/ Medium Rigid License
