About this role

CCL’s Pathways to Employment (P2E) program works with people living with a disability who are school leavers to support their transition from school to employment. The P2E Supervisor is responsible for working in conjunction with the Program Coordinator to plan, organise and deliver the day to day operation of the program.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with eligible school leavers who have a disability to support their skills development that enables the achievement of their post-school employment goals.
  • Day to day supervision of Support Workers to guide them in enabling clients to achieve their goals. Assist the Co-ordinator in managing staff.
  • Building strong relationships with schools, employers and other organisations.
  • Assist with record keeping including data entry into client management systems.

Selection Criteria include:

  • Cert 4 in Community Services, Disability, Training and Assessment or a related discipline, or willingness to undertake.
  • At least 3 years experience working with vulnerable people.
  • Demonstrated understanding of issues faced by young people leaving school and seeking to enter the workforce.
  • Demonstrated capacity to network and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capacity to supervise staff and lead effective teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting the rights of all people to be treated with dignity, respect, and social and community inclusion and working within a person-centred, human rights framework.

Desirable

  • At least 2 years experience delivering NDIS funded supports.
