Companion Mental Health and Disability Services is a disability service located in Perth WA who provide supports and services to NDIS participants. Companion Mental Health and Disability Services is seeking an Administration and Scheduling Officer to work in a friendly and collaborative team environment.

If you’re passionate in making a meaningful difference for people, this could be a career move for you. The role will be diverse with time divided between supporting the Scheduling team and assisting the HR team in a range of tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day to day rescheduling and covering of unplanned absences.
  • Recording and adjusting staff rosters using our rostering system ‘Shift Care’.
  • Adjusting rosters, where possible, as per clients request and preferences.
  • Adjust rosters to cover unplanned changes in client requests, staff availability, including sick leave, personal leave and emergency replacements.
  • Ensuring appropriate skills and compatibility of staff with clients
  • Recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
  • Updating Training and Compliance Registers
  • General administration and reception duties

Essential SKILLS (CRITERIA)

  • Excellent customer service and strong communication skills to develop effective working relationships and promote services.
  • Exceptional time management, organisational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, problem solve and work under pressure.
  • Good relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Applications and other software applications.
  • Sound attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work autonomously and also within a collaborative team environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • NDIS Workers Screen Check (or willing to obtain)
  • COVID-19 considerations: Must be double vaccinated with booster within the required timeframe.
  • Hours: 38 hrs per week
