Comm Unity Plus Services Ltd (operating as commUnity+) is a multidisciplinary organisation located in Melbourne’s western suburbs, delivering a range of prevention and early intervention programs focused on informing and engaging with our community. This is achieved via high quality Adult Education, Legal Services (Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre), our Neighbourhood House program and Children’s Contact Service, as well as a range of community and individual development activities.
Reporting to the General Manager, Shared Services, this position will provide high level front-of-house service to our community. The role will entail providing excellent customer service to our commUnity members. This role is responsible for being the initial face and contact for our community members when arriving at our Deer Park and Brimbank Aquatic & Wellness Centre (BAWC) sites.
The Community Services Officer will be further responsible for coordinating and managing a variety of activities associated with reception and administration across various locations and general administration. The role will entail providing reception support to not only commUnity+ but two other partners within the BAWC space including Good Shepherd Australia and New Zealand and Distinctive Options.
A relevant qualification in business administration or equivalent would be advantageous. Previous experience in the community sector, ability to work flexible hours and organise/manage own work activities and schedules to meet established deadlines, would be desirable for this role.
These positions are being offered as full-time, fixed-term positions (12 months) at Deer Park and Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre (BAWC), Keilor Downs sites.
