We are currently recruiting for two part-time 4-Year-Old Early Childhood Teachers (ECT). These positions commence in Term 2 and finish at the end of Term 4 in 2021. Reporting to the Leader of Pedagogy, you will work alongside another ECT to lead and inspire a small team of educators in developing and implementing a high-quality program by role modelling professional practice reflective of CKP’s purpose, philosophy and values.

You will do this by:

  • Delivering excellent inclusive, purposeful, thoughtful and intentional learning opportunities for all children
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and the broader community
  • Coaching and mentoring educators to achieve individual and group goals
  • Completing documentation and assessment inline with CKP’s outstanding practices to improve outcomes for children
  • Actively participating in, sharing and embedding professional learning in the pursuit of higher standards 

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in early years’ education and care
  • Experience working in communities supporting children and families in vulnerable circumstances
  • Reputation for positive team leadership
  • Energy, positivity and great working relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • VIT registration.
