This is a permanent, residential opportunity in Bendigo, Victoria. Candidates from Melbourne and other areas of regional Victoria who are considering this opportunity, will be offered a generous relocation assistance as part of their package.

Amicus Community Services Ltd are a not for profit, employer of choice based in Bendigo, Victoria who have been supporting the needs of vulnerable people and local communities across central Victoria since 1988. They currently provide services to people with a disability of all ages as a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered provider and under the Commonwealth Home Support Program; and to children and young people involved with Child Protection and the Out of Home Care system with funding from the Department of Families Fairness and Housing.

As they embark on this leadership change, the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead and drive the strategic direction and vision of Amicus Community Services Limited. You will be responsible for leading the Executive Management Team in ensuring high quality and innovative service delivery that meets all quality, operational and financial targets.

As the CEO your strong commercial business acumen and operational excellence will enable you to lead and direct business development, community engagement and oversee the day-to-day operations of the organisation to achieve optimum outcomes as well as effective use of human resources and business assets.

The successful candidate will have an impressive track record at an Executive level with demonstrated excellence in steering and managing the operations and resources of a similar sized organisation, preferably within the Disability, or Aged Care sector or the broader not for profit sector.

You will also have demonstrated strength in financial, operational and culture driven leadership and previous experience overseeing finance (accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting), HR and IT. You will have extensive experience of working directly to a Board of Directors, have a high-level understanding of corporate governance and hold an MBA or a Bachelors' degree in Business, Finance or Public Administration.

In addition, you will have demonstrated excellence in leading an organisation, managing teams, ensuring profitability, steering culture and providing a living example of an organisations Vision, Purpose and Values.
