Alice Springs Child Care Centre (ASCCC) is a not-for-profit, community based Child Care Centre located in Alice Springs that has been an integral part of the local community for nearly 50 years. They provide high quality, long day care services and are licensed to educate up to 45 children daily from 6 months to 5 years old. Their aim is to continue providing high quality care for local children in a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment, they are currently rated as "exceeding" the National Quality Standards (NQS).

ASCCC is governed by a volunteer Parent Committee of Management (PCM) and operates as a socially responsible organisation by providing a safe and respectful environment for staff, children and families. As Centre Director, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations to ensure compliance with all the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF) requirements.

You will use your management experience and leadership qualities to bring out the best in your people, build their capability and support and develop them, whilst continuing the keep the Centre as a safe and engaging place for children, families and the ASCCC team.

The successful candidate will have an excellent commercial business acumen and previous experience working in a regulated environment, implementing and adhering to policies and procedures at an operational management level within the Early Learning, Education or Community Services sector.

In addition, you will have proficient stakeholder relationship and development skills along with an impressive written and verbal communication ability and hold a Bachelor or Diploma level qualification in Business Management or a related field. Candidates with a Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma-level early childhood qualification (approved by ACECQA) with be held in high regard.
